I agree with the QuickTime Pro choice - we bought it and it's a great tool to have. The kids especially use it when wanting to write DVDs from their home made movies.

Have been liking Mailplane a lot! Was not sure at first, but once I learned the shortcuts I was in love. Command-shift-d to deliver the message is what I am used to and what it uses - the others are a little different, but quite usable. I now like gmail.

Although Pixelator looks nice and I'll be checking it out, the basic interface looks pretty much like the much maligned GIMP. What's with all the love for Pixelator when many people hate GIMP's interface? But being a personal fan of GIMP, I look forward to a mac-ified version.

Pixelmator! While I cant really call it a product, it just looks incredible.

Though Quicktime Pro is definitely worth the price of admission.
