Do you have any predictions or topic recommendations for the MBW crew for 2008?
I’d like to hear a show about the “bad old days” of being a Mac user. I came into the Mac world a little late and only really know OS X. Another show of “Mac whines” would be great as well.
As far as predictions, I’ll go out on a limb and say that Scott Bourne will really like the next generation iPhone. A lot.
How about you?

PREDICTION:
With the announcement of rentals on Itunes, Apple TV will gain some traction and flip the script on its current status.

Step by step we come closer to the “Navigator”.

Don’t discount this video that Steve Jobs produced 20 years ago. Each new development at Apple brings us closer and close to its reality. If you want to know the developmental plan in Steve Jobs brain, this is it. Think how close we are. About all we are waiting for is a capable AI. Watch for some sort of tablet that will ultimately become the navigator. The newton was the first attempt, but it was before its time. The “Navigator” is coming. Maybe not this year, but its early iteration may be here in January.

Hi,
Weird question I know, but bear with me.
I have normal shop bought DVD’s ripped onto my computer (I won’t say what software I used, in case I’m not allowed to) and they’re now in Video_TS folders on my hard disk (unencrypted, region free)
From there, can I change the format, so that I just have the audio track in mp3 format, ready to be placed on an iPod, MP3 player etc.? I’m not interested about the DVD menu’s obviously, just the main section of the DVD’s.
A step-by-step guide would be much appreciated, if it’s possible to do this at all.
If you need more information, let me know.
Thanks
