- iOS: Tabs in Safari iOS… Get “recently closed tabs” by holding down the + in the tab bar in iOS Safari.
- OS X: In the app store list of items you purchased, there’s a way to remove items from that list by clicking on “purchased” up top, then hovering over the app you want to delete. A little X will appear. Click it and say “goodbye”.

- iOS: Settings – General – Keyboard… Scroll down and see “Shortcuts”. It’s like TextExpander built into the iOS. Editor note: I found this last week after the show but found these shortcut do not sync across devices. So set ‘em up on your iPhone then the iPad. Maybe in the first update.
- OS X: Enable the “Speakable Items” feature. System Preferences – Speech. ”Tell me what to say” will list all of the available commands for you.

- Flipboard is one of the best applications on the iPad.
- If you turn your iPhone’s volume down, the alarm will be low as well. So mute it with the switch and your alarm volume will be fine (if it was already turned up).

- iOS: “Find My iPhone” is not on by default when you buy your iOS device. You have to turn those settings on.
- Lion: Quicktime Player will let you strip out the audio of your favorite videos essentially turning them into audio books.

- iOS: Press Home and Power button on iOS device for 10 seconds while tethered. That’s DFU mode. It’s the last resort so you can restore your device… again, a last resort. A “hard core reset” from Chris Breen.
- OS X Lion: Get into using full screen mode on multiple apps in Lion. Use the swiping action to flip through apps and desktops. Update your mission Control Settings in System Preferences to tune in the actions to suit you best.
